Die The Hamburg Foundation for Politically Persecuted People is the only organisation of ist kind in Germany. The Foundation:

Grants scholarships to politically persecuted people
Looks after guests of the Foundation and supports them in their activities
Organises cultural and political events with guests
Initiates and supports petition campaigns for political prisoners and missing persons
Informs the public about politically persecuted people and their situations
Works with national and international Human Rights organisations
Works to counter xenophobia and intolerance
