Die The Hamburg Foundation for Politically Persecuted People is the only organisation of ist kind in Germany. The Foundation:

• Grants scholarships to politically persecuted people
• Looks after guests of the Foundation and supports them in their activities
• Organises cultural and political events with guests
• Initiates and supports petition campaigns for political prisoners and missing persons
• Informs the public about politically persecuted people and their situations
• Works with national and international Human Rights organisations
• Works to counter xenophobia and intolerance
